Oh my goodness, lovely readers, you have got to try this!
If you’ve ever been searching for something special to make(for a holiday or party that requires the very best dish) you’re in luck! We made the most drool-worthy Au Gratin potatoes earlier this week, and we just had to share it with you! If Au Gratin potatoes just aren’t you’re thing – we urge you to reconsider. This is like no Au Gratin potatoes you’ve ever had.
We aren’t going to lie, this dish is an investment of your time, so keep that in mind if you do plan to try this. It took us about 2 hours and 15 minutes from start to finish, but if you try it we promise you will not be sorry! We actually got this recipe from one of our most favorite food blogs, Half Baked Harvest. The author, Tieghan Gerard, came up with this amazing recipe for Au Gratin potatoes in preperation for Christmas Eve last year, and that’s exactly when we intend to make it again!
This recipe is a winner with caramelized garlic, Gruyère + Brie cheeses, fresh sage, a buttery cracker topping and of course the main ingredient – russet potatoes. We highly recommend that everyone make this recipe. We know we will have some very happy relatives this upcoming holiday season!
