Wedding Card – Pinterest Inspired

Happy May 1st readers!

The start of wedding season is upon us! Our sugar baby attended a wedding this past Friday night. On Thursday night she asked us if we could ‘whip up’ a card for her to bring along. At first, we were a bit annoyed – less than 24 hours to plan, design + assemble! Why hadn’t we anticipated her needing this card and made it long before the wedding?

After our quick brush with annoyance, we went straight to Pinterest for ideas! We came across this darling card from Stampin Crazy In Texas and knew we had to replicate it for this occassion.

We only used this Pinterest find as inspiration. Although our card is quite similar, we created the whole thing from scratch. As this was a personal use card, we did snag some images off of google (the dress and the heart flourishes). The card base was created from scratch in our design program, and the other embellishments (lapel, bow tie, bouquet, champagne flutes) are also from our design software.

We used 16 size SS06 heat-set crystals to bling it up. Overall, we are impressed at how well it came together! Tell us what you think of our Pinterest-to-reality card! We’d love to hear about your favorite Pinterest finds or your own Pinterest-to-reality stories in the comments below, please share with us! Follow us on Pinterest to keep up with all the cool things we’ve been pinning!

There is only 5 days left of our giveaway. Go check that out and get yourself entered to win one of three fabulous prizes!!
