Get Well Tissue Card – Pinterest Inspiration Week

Hello Readers! Here is the second card in our Pinterest-to-reality week! We decided to make the sweet Get Well Tissue Card! If you missed our post on Monday, you can read it here. Linda Aarhus from Polkadots and Paper made the original inspiration card:

The things we loved about this card were the pocket (obviously), the swirly font and the tissue! So, the whole thing really. We decided to go bright on this card, we’ve been in a summer mood lately. We used a bright green card stock for the envelope and card base, and a pink polka dot card stock for the background and accent on the envelope + we used a tiny bit of bling. (The card base, envelope, pocket, border and sentiment we’re all designed in our design software.) We are extremely pleased with the end result!

As with all of our cards, we left the inside blank for a personal message. The card stock we used in today’s card and yesterday’s envelope is from a paper pad we received as a gift. It’s called Boho Tropical by Craft Smith and we just love it! It’s so fun and bright!MPP0128-12x12_BohoTropicalCover_NEW.jpg
